For educators to thrive, K-12 workplace wellbeing is fundamental. Happy, healthy, and empowered educators foster happy and healthy schools for students. How do we all understand workplace wellbeing? How do we ensure workplace wellbeing initiatives benefit all?

Join Dr. Vidya Shah
as she offers models of wellbeing that are more inclusive and equitable for all. She explores the ways in which mainstream notions of wellbeing perpetuate capitalism, settler colonialism, and white supremacy in their interpretation, practice, and impact on educators and educational leaders, students, and families.

In this keynote presentation, Kevin Lamoureux will share how, through the work of reconciliation, we have the opportunity to engage with teachings, wisdom, and worldviews that can help us reimagine “business as usual.” He will explore the role that educators can play in charting a better path forward for how our schools can strive to become healthier and happier workplaces. Discover additional sessions that explore the intersection of workplace wellbeing and equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI). [View the complete program and register]
